What this is

A personal site for design notes, half-finished projects, and the occasional travelogue. Built on the Brutal Astro theme, edited through Sveltia CMS at /admin, and broadcast to mahoot.xyz.

The aesthetic is sovietwave — not because of any politics, but because the visual language of mid-century Soviet space posters happens to overlap nicely with neobrutalism: bold type, limited palette, geometric stars, and an unapologetic willingness to take up space.
